At 16:03 two fire engines from Ormskirk attended a road trafffic collision on Heatons Bridge Road, Scarisbrick. One casualty was trapped and firefighters used holmatro spreaders, cutters, desalt saw, small tools and a longboard to extricate the casualty. The crew were engaged for forty minutes and the casualty was passed into the care of NWAS.
