At 18:37 on 19th April, two fire engines from Ormskirk attended a road traffic collision on Wyke Road, Scarisbrick. The incident involved a lorry that had overturned into a ditch. Two casualties were treated by personnel from North West Ambulance Service. Fire crews used one hose reel jet and a trauma kit. They were in attendance for approximately forty-five minutes.
