At 08:01 on 2nd December, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Burnley attended a road traffic collision on Sabden Road, Simonstone. The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters rescued one casualty from their vehicle and provided first aid. The casualty was then placed in the care of paramedics. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
