At 23:58 two fire engine attended a road traffic collision at the Concourse, Skelmersdale. One casualty self-extricated before the arrival of the fire service but was conveyed to hospital. Firefighters used a first-aid kit, a trifor winch, lighting and small tools. They were at the scene for fifty-five minutes.
