At 21:26 on 28 February, two fire engines from Skelmersdale and Wigan (from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) attended a road traffic collision on School Lane, Up Holland. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters used a hearth kit and worked to make the scene safe. Six casualties were assessed by paramedics. Crews remained in attendance for fifty minutes.
