Two fire engines, one from Chorley and one from Bamber Bridge were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Blackburn Road, Higher Wheelton.When they arrived all occupants were out of their vehicles and were were being assessed by paramedics. Firefighters assisted in making the scene safe. There were two casualties taken to hospital for precautionary checks. Crews were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
