Fire crews from Burnley were called to assist at the scene of a road traffic collision on the M65 motorway, eastbound near junction 11 after a car had collided with the central reservation. The casualty had managed to free themselves from the vehicle prior to firefighters arriving at the scene. They received checks by paramedics at the scene and firefighters assisted in making the scene safe. They were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
