At 13:43 on 29th December, two fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended a road traffic collision on the M65 Eastbound motorway, between J05 and J06. The incident involved two vehicles. Three casualties received medical attention from firefighters before being placed into the care of paramedics. Crews then worked to make the scene safe. They were in attendance for twenty minutes.
