Three fire crews, two from Blackburn and one from Darwen attended a road traffic collision on the M65 motorway, westbound between junction 4 and 5. The incident involved one car and one van. There were two casualties involved, one of whom the firefighters extricated from one of the vehicles. Both casualties were assessed by paramedics at the scene and conveyed to hospital via ambulance. Crews were in attendance approximately 25 minutes.
