Sunday 21st November 2021

Victims of road traffic collisions will be remembered at a special service in November.

Lancashire Road Safety Partnership would like to invite anyone who has been affected by loss or injury following a road traffic collision to participate in the memorial service to be held on Sunday 21st November 2021.

RoadPeace World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is observed on the third Sunday in November every year and was initiated in 1993 by RoadPeace the UK charity for road traffic victims. This day gives us the opportunity to remember loved ones and come together as a community to support each other.

This year the service will be available online, where multi-faith representatives, emergency service personnel and bereaved family members will contribute to the memorial service. This will be shared online for you to view from 9am on Sunday 21st November on www.lancsroadsafety.co.uk.

We would like to invite you to remember your loved ones with us by sharing their photograph, name, dates and a few words of remembrance. This will form part of the online compilation that will be shared on our website on the day.

To remember a loved one please email safertravelteam@lancashire.gov.uk by 22nd October 2021.
