Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars on St James Road, Blackburn. Firefighters and paramedics worked together to release one casualty from a vehicle using cutting equipment and the casualty was later taken to hospital. Another person was already out of a car before firefighters arrived at the scene.
