At 15:14 on 12th December, two fire engines from Nelson and Burnley attended a road traffic collision on Barrowford Road, Burnley. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle before the individual was conveyed to hospital by NWAS personnel. Crews then worked to make the scene safe, and were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
