At 5:20pm on 7th January, three fire engines from Garstang and Lancaster attended an incident on Lancaster Road, Cockerham. The fire involved a slurry generator which was well alight on arrival. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were at the scene for twenty minutes.
