Crews from Penwortham and Bamber Bridge were called to reports of a fire involving a tumble dryer at a domestic property in Greenwood, Bamber Bridge. The occupier of the property had managed to move the machine outside the property prior to the arrival of firefighters. There was some minor heat and smoke damage to the property but there were no casualties reported and they did not use any further equipment at the incident.
