Firefighters from Lancaster were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Brookhouse Road, Caton. On arrival they found a van off the roadway well alight. They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Police were also in attendance and a joint investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
