At 13:05 a fire engine from Hyndburn attended reports of a vehicle on fire on Willows Lane, Accrington. On arrival they found a car on the roadway which was on fire. They used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and were engaged for ten minutes. The cause of the fire is unknown.
