Firefighters from Skelmersdale were called to a vehicle on fire on the roadway on Hall Lane, Appley Bridge. Firefighters extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and a hose reel. They were in attendance approximately 30 minutes and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
