Fire involved a car on the roadway which was well alight when firefighters from Bacup arrived at the scene. The fire involved the dashboard of the vehicle and was extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher. A thermal imaging camera was also in use. There were no casualties reported and firefighters were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
