Firefighters from Bamber Bridge were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Bradkirk Place, Bamber Bridge. On arrival they found a fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle. Crews used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also in use to assess thee vehicle for further signs of hot spots and fire spread. Crews were in attendance approximately twenty five minutes.
