Firefighters from Blackburn were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Whalley New Road, Blackburn after a car collided with a wall. On arrival they found the vehicle well alight and they extinguished the fire using two hose reels. There was one casualty who received a precautionary check by paramedics at the scene. Fire crews were in attendance approximately twenty minutes.
