At 18:37hrs, two fire crews from Blackburn extinguished a fire involving a van on Alan Shearer Way in Blackburn. The van was well alight on the pavement when firefighters arrived. They used foam, one jet and two hose reels, two breathing apparatus and one dry powder extinguisher to put the fire out. Crews were in attendance around one hour.
