Three fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge and Leyland attended a car fire on the drive of a domestic property on Main Street in Buckshaw Village, which spread to the adjacent house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and dry powder to extinguish the fire. An investigation into the cause is underway.
