At 18:44 on 15 December, two fire engines from Clitheroe and Hyndburn attended a vehicle fire on Clitheroe Road, Chatburn. The incident involved one vehicle that was well alight on the roadway when the crews arrived. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for an hour and twenty minutes.
