At 06:51 on 23rd March, one fire engine from Darwen attended a vehicle fire on Ward Street, Chorley. The fire involved a car which was well alight and also affected a nearby property. Firefighters used one hose reel and 10 litres of foam to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately one hour and forty minutes. A joint investigation alongside Lancashire Constabulary is now underway.
