One fire engine from Fulwood was called to a car fire in a bush on Merrytrees Lane, Cottam. Firefighters used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and there is now a joint police and fire investigation looking at the cause of the fire.
