Fire crews from Darwen were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Blackburn Road, Edgeworth. The incident involved a car which was well alight on the roadway by the time crews arrived. They used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were at the scene approximately 30 minutes. There were no casualties.
