At 11:58 on the 7th May 2023, two fire engines from Bispham and Preesall attended an incident on Sower Carr Lane, Hambleton. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
