At 00:20 one fire engine from Haslingden attended a vehicle on fire on Meadows Avenue, Haslingden. A car was found to be well alight and firefighters one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire which was thought to have been started deliberately. Firefighters were at the scene for twenty minutes.
