At 00:41 hours on 25 May, a fire engine from Morecambe attended a vehicle fire at Norton Place, Heysham. The incident involved two cars and firefighters used two hose reels, a hearth kit and lighting to extinguish the fire. Crews were at the scene for approximately one and a quarter hours. The cause of the fire is unknown. There were no casualties.
