One crew from Morecambe were called to reports of a vehicle fire in the early hours on Sandylands Promenade. The car was on the roadway and was well alight when firefighters arrived. They extinguished the fire using one hose reel and believe the fire may have been started deliberately, so a joint investigation alongside the Police is now underway.
