At 12:02 on 27 June, two fire engines from Morecambe and Bolton-le-Sands attended a vehicle fire on Bay Gateway, Heaton with Oxcliffe, Morecambe. The incident involved one vehicle that was well alight when crews arrived. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and small tools to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for half an hour.
