Firefighters from Nelson were called to reports of a car on fire on Camden Street, Nelson in the early hours. The car was well alight on the roadway and was extinguished using breathing apparatus and one hose reel. Also in use was a partner saw and some lighting equipment. Firefighters were in attendance just under one hour. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
