Firefighters from Nelson were called to a vehicle fire on Fern Bank Street, Nelson. The vehicle was well alight on the roadway and crews quickly extinguished the fire using a hose reel. A partner saw was also in use. Police were in attendance and a joint investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway. Firefighters were there approximately forty minutes.
