Firefighters from Colne and Nelson attended a fire involving a vehicle on Carr Road. The vehicle was well alight upon arrival of fire crews and was extinguished using two hose reels. A hooligan tool was also in use at the incident. The fire is thought to have been started deliberately and an investigation is now underway. There was severe fire damage to the engine compartment and the passenger side of the cabin.
