At 00:47 on 15th December, one fire engine from Nelson attended a vehicle fire on Macleod Street, Nelson. The fire involved one vehicle that was well alight on the roadway when the crew arrived. Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel. They were in attendance for one hour. A fire investigation is now underway.
