Fire crews from Nelson were called to reports of a vehicle on fire on Fir Street, Nelson. When crews arrived at the scene they found a car well alight on the roadway. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. An investigation into the fire is now underway alongside colleagues from the Police. Crews were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
