Firefighters from Penwortham and Preston were called to reports of an RTC on Preston New Road, Clifton. When they arrived they found the incident actually involved a vehicle which was on fire off the roadway, not an RTC. Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a partner saw.
