Firefighters from Preston and Penwortham were called to reports of a fire involving a building on Hawthorne Crescent, Preston, however on arrival the fire was found to involve a vehicle, not a building. Crews used one breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Lighting equipment was also in use. Firefighters were in attendance approximately one hour and thirty minutes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
