At 23:14 on 22nd April, one fire engine from Chorley attended a vehicle fire on Roynton Road, Rivington. The incident involve a single car that was well alight in a car park when firefighters arrived. Crews used lighting and two hose reels to extinguish the fire and were at the scene for approximately one hour. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
