At 17:30 on 23rd May, one fire engine from Bacup attended a vehicle fire on Whitworth Rake, Rochdale. The incident involved a single car that was well alight on the roadway when firefighters arrived. Crews used one breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for twenty-five minutes.
