At 09:05 on 21st July, two fire engines from Penwortham and Leyland attended a vehicle fire on Windgate, Tarleton. The incident involved a small quantity of cardboard in the rear of a waste collection vehicle. Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel. They were in attendance for twenty minutes.
