At 13:43 two fire engines from Tarleton and Leyland attended a vehicle fire on Moss Lane, Whitestake. The fire involved a JCB digger which was well alight upon arrival. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and two hose reels to bring the fire under control. They were at the scene for forty minutes.
