At 14:19 on the 2nd July 2022, two fire engines from Haslignden and Rawtenstall attended an incident on A56 Haslingden, Accrington. The incident involved one vehicle which was well alight when crews arrived. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
