At 21:40 on 02 April, two fire engines from South Shore and Fulwood attended a vehicle fire between J01 and J03 on the M55 Westbound motorway. The incident involved one vehicle that was alight on the roadway. Firefighters used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. No casualties were reported. Crews were in attendance for twenty minutes.
