At 13:21 on 29 April, two fire engines from Fulwood and Lancaster attended a vehicle fire on the M6 Motorway, between Lancaster Services and J32. The incident involved one vehicle that was well alight on the hard shoulder when crews arrived. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and 10l of foam to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately half an hour.
