Firefighters from Fulwood and Lancaster attended a vehicle fire on the M6 northbound. The fire involved a van on the hard shoulder. Crews extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a ventilation unit. Fire crews were in attendance around thirty minutes.
