At 15:18 on 14 December, two fire engines from Preston attended a vehicle fire on the M6 Northbound motorway. The incident involved one vehicle that was alight on the roadway. Firefighters used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately twenty minutes.
