At 19:09 on 11th December, three fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a vehicle fire located on the M6 Northbound, between J31 and J31A. The incident involved a van that was on the hard shoulder of the motorway. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for thirty minutes.
