At 01:48am on the 10th March, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Leyland attended an incident on Old Worden Avenue, Buckshaw Village. The fire involved two cars which spread to the garage of a domestic property. Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for almost two hours.
