At 12:23 on 9th June, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a waste fire on Bank Hey Lane, Blackburn. The incident involved a quantity of waste approximately 15x15m in size that was well alight when firefighters arrived. Crews used one extended hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
